Chimica et Natura Acta

This document provides details on typesetting and layout requirements pertaining to final manuscript submission to Chimica et Natura Acta.

Formatting Requirements

The editor receives submissions of research articles and literature reviews in the fields of chemistry and natural science, for their publication in the Journal of Chimica et Natura Acta. Other types of articles such as those ideas or concepts are excluded for publication in the journal. The length of the manuscript should be about 10 pages of A-4 papers at maximum, including tables, graphs, and figures.

Review articles

For publishing in the journal, this type should be a critical and comprehensive analysis of actual topics, which are based on innovative new findings and recently published in literature sources. The writing of an articles starts with its Title and the Name(s) and address of Author(s), followed by an abstract (in English, provided with keywords), and “Abstrak” (in Indonesian Language), provided with “kata kunci”), Introduction, Discussion, and Conclusions, and finished with Acknowledgement and References

Research Articles

Research articles report original findings that have not been published elsewhere. They will be evaluated based on originality, clarity, reliability, scientific contribution, and overall quality.

Title

The title should be written in both Indonesian and English (max 25 words each), all capitalized, without abbreviations or chemical symbols. Author's full name (no academic title), institution, and postal address must be included under the first title.

Abstract

Abstracts must be written in both Indonesian (max 200 words) and English (max 150 words), containing background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Include keywords directly under each abstract.

Introduction

The Introduction must justify the importance of the research and be supported by references.

Materials and Methods

This section should detail the materials (with specifications and origin) and methods used. Previously published methods must be properly cited.

Results and Discussion

Present research results with clear captions for tables/figures. Avoid repeating data in the text. Discuss and compare findings with previous studies and highlight innovations and contributions to science.

Conclusions

This section summarizes research findings in narrative or bullet-point form, based on the discussion.

Acknowledgement

Briefly acknowledge contributions from individuals or institutions, including funding sources and reviewers.

References

List all references alphabetically by the first author's last name, using the APA System with modification. Examples:
