Majalah Kedokteran Bandung (MKB) / Bandung Medical Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed medical journal published by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. The journal provides an international platform for the publication and dissemination of high-quality research that contributes to the advancement of medical and health sciences.
MKB publishes original research in tropical medicine, infectious diseases, biomedical sciences, and public health, with particular emphasis on the translational and clinical relevance of experimental, biomedical, epidemiological, and clinical findings.
The journal welcomes research addressing health and disease, particularly studies relevant to tropical and subtropical settings, emerging health challenges, and populations in low- and middle-income countries. MKB is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December, with up to 12 articles per issue. The journal publishes original research articles in English. All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial evaluation and a double-blind peer-review process before acceptance for publication.
Established in 1967, Majalah Kedokteran Bandung has a longstanding commitment to scholarly publishing in medical and health sciences. The journal carries print ISSN 0126-074X and online ISSN 2338-6223.
