Publication Ethics

The publication of articles in Jurnal Kultivasi adheres to publication ethics that must be followed by authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers. Articles that are written, reviewed, and published in accordance with publication ethics are considered to be of high scientific quality. The publication ethics applied in Jurnal Kultivasi are described as follows:

Author Ethics

  • Authors must ensure that their work is original. Ideas and text should be the result of the author’s own work and not a replication of other works. All sources must be properly cited to avoid plagiarism.
  • The first author listed in the manuscript must have expertise relevant to the subject areas of Jurnal Kultivasi.

  • All authors listed in the manuscript must have contributed significantly to the writing process. All authors must be aware of and agree to the submission to Jurnal Kultivasi in order to prevent conflicts of interest.
  • Data presented in the manuscript must be obtained honestly, free from bias, and not influenced by any party. Manuscripts must not be intended for product promotion.
  • Authors are responsible for completing manuscript revisions within the time period specified by the editor.

Editor Ethics

  • Editors must make objective decisions regarding manuscript acceptance based solely on the quality of the work, including relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and the absence of conflicts of interest, regardless of the author’s ethnicity, religion, race, gender, or political views.
  • Editors must ensure the confidentiality of manuscripts and author information before publication.
  • Reviewers must be selected based on their expertise and objectivity.
  • Editors must provide an appropriate time frame for reviewers to complete the review process.

Reviewer Ethics

  • Reviewers must provide objective evaluations and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Reviewers must complete the review process within the deadline set by the editor.
  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and author information before publication.

Journal Manager Ethics

  • Journal managers must ensure the confidentiality of manuscripts and author data prior to publication.
  • Journal managers must provide accurate and clear information required by authors, editors, and reviewers.
  • Journal managers are responsible for ensuring that the journal is published regularly and according to the established schedule.
