Abstract

The objective of the experiment was to determine the dosage of cow manure and biofertilizer on the growth and yield of mungbean (Vigna radiata L.). The experiment was conducted from June until August 2013 at the Experimental Station of the Agricultural Faculty, Universitas Padjadjaran, Sumedang, West Java. This experimental station located at 813 meters above sea level with Inceptisols soils and C3 climate type of Oldeman.A randomized block design (RBD) was used in this experiment with nine treatments and three replications. The several treatment was applied namely : (A) without cow manure + biofertilizer; (B) 5 t ha-1cow manure; (C) 5 L ha-1 biofertilizer; (D) 2,5 t ha-1cow manure + 2,5 L ha-1 biofertilizer; (E) 2,5 t ha-1cow manure + 5 L ha-1 biofertilizer; (F) 2,5 t ha-1cow manure + 7,5 L ha-1 biofertilizer; (G) 5 t ha-1cow manure + 2,5 L ha-1 biofertilizer; (H) 5 t ha-1cow manure + 5 L ha-1 biofertilizer; (I) 5 t ha-1cow manure + 7,5 L ha-1 biofertilizer. The experiment obtained 27 experimental plots. To evaluate the difference between the treatment is used F test. Besides to evaluate the difference of the average value of the treatment that given is used Duncan test (5%) which has double distances. The results of this experiment showed that the treatment of bio-fertilizer 5 L ha-1 was significience the grain weight per plot of 0,8 kg and average weight seed per hectare of 1,33 t ha-1.
